The Oriental Watch Race Day will be held at Sha Tin Racecourse on Sunday, 26 October. Racegoers can enjoy an array of on-course activities, including the first two Hong Kong Group 2 races for the season and a fantastic Watch & Fashion Show featuring popular local TV stars and models. Fans joining this spectacular day out will have the chance to win a TONDA METROGRAPHE watch worth over HK$98,000.
Each person entering Sha Tin Racecourse on Sunday will receive an Instant Win Card* upon arrival. Fabulous prizes worth over HK$280,000 will be given away to racegoers, headed by a prestigious TONDA METROGRAPHE timepiece from Swiss watchmakers Parmigiani Fleurier (photo 1). Game cards will be distributed until the start of Race 6 or while stocks last.
TV stars Raymond Wong and Jason Chan will join top local models Jocelyn Luko and Alice B. on the catwalk at a Watch & Fashion Show to be held in the Parade Ring after Race 4. They will show off elegant evening gowns complemented by matching luxury timepieces from leading world brands such as Bulgari, Carl F. Bucherer, Franck Muller, Girard Perregaux, H. Moser & Cie, Parmigiani, Piaget, Sarcar & Zenith.
The Oriental Watch Sha Tin Trophy (Race 9), a Hong Kong Group 2 race on turf over 1,600m, will be presented by Club Steward Dr Eric Li Ka Cheung after the race. Chairman of Oriental Watch Holdings Limited Dr Yeung Ming-biu and his wife, along with Managing Director Dennis Yeung Him-kit and his wife and Executive Director Alain Lam Hing-lun and his wife, will present souvenirs to the winning connections. The Premier Bowl (1,200m, HKG2), to be run as Race 8, will be another of the day’s highlights.
