Dicky Lui attends draw ceremony of Macau Apprentice Jockeys Invitation Races

Reigning Hong Kong champion apprentice jockey Dicky Lui will represent Hong Kong to compete against 13 other apprentices from Macau, Australasia, Asia and Africa in the 14th Macau Apprentice Jockeys Invitation Races at Taipa Racecourse this Friday and Saturday, 7 & 8 November.  Lui attended the barrier draw ceremony that was held by the Macau Jockey Club at Taipa Racecourse today.

The invitation race series includes five legs and will be held over two days.  Lui was allotted one ride in the first two legs on Friday, 7 November.  He will partner three-year-old gelding Super Sonic (Gate 2) in the first leg, the Macau Apprentice Jockeys Invitation Race (Div. 1), a 1100m contest on turf.

Lui was allotted three more rides in the three remaining legs on Saturday, 8 Nov, including Luen Yat Century (Gate 12)  in the Macau Apprentice Jockeys Invitation Plate (1500m sand), Magic Bear (Gate 6) in the Macau Apprentice Jockeys Invitation Bowl (1200m turf) and Turquoise Choice (Gate 8) in the Macau Apprentice Jockeys Invitation Cup (1800m turf).
