Dicky Lui participates in Macau Apprentice Jockeys Invitation Races

Hong Kong representative Dicky Lui participated in the 14th Macau Apprentice Jockeys Invitation Races at Taipa Racecourse, Macau today(Saturday, 8 November)  and last night.

Dicky Lui scored a total of 9 points from four out of the five Invitation Races in which he had allocated mounts. He claimed 8th place on Super Sonic in the Division 1 race; finished 10th with Luen Yat Century in the Invitation Plate; claimed 12th on board Magic Bear in the Invitation Bowl; and finished 9th with Turquoise Choice in the Invitation Cup.

The winner of the 14th Macau Apprentice Jockeys Invitation Races was Australia’s Harry Coffey, while Yoshihito Nagaoka of Japan was the runner-up and Michael James Dee of New Zealand claimed third place.

Dicky Lui also rode in three other races today and won in a 1500m turf event aboard Sunshine Godsend at Taipa Racecourse.
