At the Sha Tin barrier trials conducted yesterday, Jockey Ben T H So was dislodged from DEAR FREUD prior to batch 8 when that horse took charge. After initially being found to be fit to fulfil his race riding engagements this evening, Jockey So advised the Stewards that after riding track work this morning, he is experiencing some neck and back pain and accordingly is not able to ride at tonight’s racemeeting. As such, the Stewards approved the following riding substitutions:-
Race 1: A Atzeni on HEARTILY TALK
Race 2: K C Leung on KING’S FOLKS
Race 5: K C Leung on HEROIC GURU
A release in respect of Jockey So’s eligibility to resume riding will be made at the appropriate time.
