It has previously been advised that Jockey Manoel Nunes had been granted permission to ride SPALATO in The BOCHK Wealth Management Jockey Club Sprint (Group 2) at the Sha Tin race meeting scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, 23 November 2014.
Management has today been advised that Jockey Nunes has not recovered sufficiently from an injury he had previously sustained to his right wrist and consequently will be unable to fulfil his riding engagement on SPALATO in the stated race. Permission has been granted for Jockey James McDonald to ride SPALATO in The BOCHK Wealth Management Jockey Club Sprint (Group 2).
As a Visiting Jockey, Jockey McDonald will be permitted to accept race riding engagements in all races run at the Sha Tin race meeting on 23 November 2014.
