For the first time, Happy Valley Racecourse was giving itself a fully Japanese makeover. The opening party of “Japan Night” staged tonight (Wednesday 19 November) coincided with the Japan Racing Association Trophy. Happy Wednesday fans were treated to a traditional Japanese festival, complete with games, on-course decorations, traditional performances and a variety of delicious Japanese food and cocktails. The festive racenight celebrations will continue on 26 November.
