It was previously announced that a veterinary examination of AMBITIOUS DRAGON conducted yesterday found that horse to be moderately lame in the right front foot.
AMBITIOUS DRAGON has again this morning been examined by Dr Peter Curl, Executive Manager, Veterinary Regulation, who has advised the Stewards that the horse is lame in the right front foot and as such is not suitable to race. Accordingly, AMBITIOUS DRAGON has been withdrawn from its intended race.

It was previously announced that an examination of CIRRUS DES AIGLES conducted yesterday found that horse to be moderately lame in the left front foot.
CIRRUS DES AIGLES has this morning been examined by Dr Peter Curl, Executive Manager, Veterinary Regulation, who has advised the Stewards that the horse is suitable to race.
CIRRUS DES AIGLES will continue to be monitored in the lead up to the horse taking its place in the LONGINES Hong Kong Cup.
