Management has today received advice from Club Jockey Andrea Atzeni that he is required to return to UK at short notice due to personal reasons. Accordingly, Jockey Atzeni has been granted permission to forfeit upcoming riding engagements and particularly those he held for the Sha Tin race meeting scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, 28 December 2014.
The Licensing Committee will, in due course, consider an application submitted by Jockey Atzeni to have his Club Jockey’s licence withdrawn.
A further release will be issued at the appropriate time in relation to the Licensing Committee’s decision.
