To help racegoers begin 2015 on a propitious note, The Hong Kong Jockey Club has arranged an array of exciting on-course activities for this Thursday's "Lucky Start January 1 Raceday".
Fans coming to Sha Tin Racecourse will receive a new version of the 3OMETHING LUCKY key chain (photo 1) designed by Jan Lamb as a door gift before the start of Race 6, or while stocks last.
The Triple Trio for the Lucky Start January 1 Raceday will be topped up from the Triple Trio Reserve, and the payout for a single $10 winning unit is estimated to reach $28 million.
Popular TV actors Priscilla Wong (photo 2) and Louis Cheung (photo 3) will be at the racecourse to bring good luck to racing fans. They will team up with the Lucky Cheering Team to play mini-games with racegoers, offering fabulous prizes.
A range of 3OMETHING LUCKY themed merchandise will be on offer exclusively at Sha Tin Racecourse starting on 1 January. The six items in the range are a T-Shirt, Hoodie, Clutch Bag, Backpack, Watch and a Portable Charger.
On the track, the day’s highlight will be the first Group race for 2015, the Chinese Club Challenge Cup (Group 3), scheduled as Race 9. In total there will be 11 races on the card, with the first starting at 12:30 pm.
