At the Sha Tin racemeeting conducted last Sunday, 28 December 2014, Apprentice C Y Lui was stood down by the Club’s doctors following the running of Race 8 after he informed Officials that he had sustained an injury to his right shoulder. The Stewards have today been advised that Apprentice Lui underwent an MRI scan this morning of his right shoulder, the results of which should be known tomorrow morning (Wednesday, 31 December 2014).
A further release on Apprentice Lui’s availability to ride at the Sha Tin racemeeting scheduled to be conducted on Thursday, 1 January 2015 will be made at the relevant time.
