The large all weather track was ripped today to a depth of 5 1/2" to relieve surface hardness as well as to achieve thorough mixing of fine river sand and bark chips applied onto the track according to the following schedule:
112 tonnes of fine river sand on 21 December 2014
120 cubic metre of bark chips on 22 December 2014
100 tonnes of fine river sand on 23 December 2014
The track will be expected to ride similar to the meeting on 20 December 2014 after it had been ripped on 16 December 2014.
