The large all weather track was ripped today to a depth of 5 1/2" to relieve surface hardness as well as to achieve thorough mixing of materials applied onto the track according to the following schedule:
130 cubic metres of bark chips on 15 January 2015
30 tonnes of silt & clay on 17 January 2015
72 tonnes of fine river sand on 19 January 2015
The track will be expected to ride similar to the meeting on 10 January 2015 after it had been ripped on 6 January 2015.
