In accordance with the usual practice of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, urine and blood samples were obtained from all first placegetters at the Happy Valley racemeeting on Wednesday, 28 January 2015. Accordingly, routine urine and blood samples were taken from HARBOUR MASTER which was successful in the Crooked Island Handicap.
The Stewards have today been advised by the Head of Racing Laboratory, Dr T S M Wan, that the post-race urine and blood samples taken from HARBOUR MASTER on analysis have shown the presence of indometacin.
Mr J Moore, trainer of HARBOUR MASTER, has been advised of the analyst's findings. The independent official racing laboratory which will analyse the referee sample (B sample) has yet to be confirmed.
The matter is now adjourned to a date to be fixed.
