Gordon Lord Byron (IRE) has been selected to run in the Group 1 Queen’s Silver Jubilee Cup to be held on Sunday, 15 March. Entries for Hong Kong-trained horses will close on Monday, 2 March. This is the first year that the Queen’s Silver Jubilee Cup (1400m) will be run as an International Group 1 event and the first time that it is open to overseas contenders. The prize money for this year’s race has increased to HK$10 million.
