Fast colt unbeaten in two starts. Debuted in October with Caulfield 1000m win and returned from break on 14 February with on speed short half head win from Pride Of Dubai in Blue Diamond Prelude (Colts and Geldings). Has speed to be prominent for a long way.

Prompt Return

Trainer said jarred up on firm ground when 3.6 lengths 5th to Thurlow in Sandown 1000m Chairman’s Stakes on 7 February. That was first run since late last year when won two of three starts. Possible improver.

Slow to begin and checked shortly after start when closing 1.25 lengths 2nd to stablemate Stoker in Sandown 1000m Inglis 2YO on 7 February. Step up to 1200m should suit.

Struck mid-race interference and came from near last at 400m when 2.85 lengths 3rd to Of The Brave and Pride of Dubai in Caulfield 1100m Blue Diamond Prelude (C&G) on 14 February. Godolphin runner with each way claims.

Second Godolphin runner. Caught wide throughout when 4.3 lengths 7th to Of The Brace in Caulfield 1100m Blue Diamond Prelude (C&G) on 14 February. Much better drawn this time and better run would not surprise.

Pride Of Dubai

Eye catching effort when strongest of closers for nose 2nd to Of The Brave in Caulfield 1100m Blue Diamond Prelude (C&G) on 14 February. The 1200m should be ideal.

Fontiton

Brilliant filly unbeaten in three starts. Can lead or be ridden just off speed. Impressive winner of Caulfield 1100m Blue Diamond Prelude (Fillies) on 14 February. Scored by 1.75 lengths from Miss Gidget and ran much quicker time than colts and geldings Prelude.

Thurlow

Finished hard for nose win over Miss Gidget in Sandown 1000m Merson Cooper Stakes on 15 November. Returned to racing on 7 February and won Sandown 1000m Chairman’s Stakes by a half length from Haybah. Don't underestimate.

Flamboyant Lass

Randwick 1000m winner on 10 January before 2.5 lengths 3rd to Fontiton in Caulfield 1100m Blue Diamond Prelude (Fillies) on 14 February when handy to speed throughout.

Miss Gidget

Close 2nd to Thurlow and close 4th to Bantam in two runs in November. Returned to racing on 14 February and held on well, after racing on speed, when 1.75 lengths 2nd to Fontition in Blue Diamond Prelude (Fillies).

Claudia Jean

Debut winner Flemington 1000m in December against just four rivals. Then did best work late when 2.3 lengths 7th to Le Chef in Gold Coast 1200m Magic Millions 2YO on 10 January. Unusual to contest this race off seven weeks break.

Had just one start and finished well on soft ground when head 2nd to Fireworks in Rosehill 1100m Widden Stakes on 31 January. Might be open to considerable improvement.

Made late ground when 3.25 lengths 4th to Fontiton in Caulfield 1100m Blue Diamond Prelude (Fillies) on 14 February. Well drawn and looks a place chance.

Better effort at second start when 1.75 lengths 2nd to Heatherly in Moonee Valley 1000m 2YO on 6 February. Still on the improve but this race much tougher.
