Fine wine, fabulous fun, thrilling action �V and all at Wines in the Valley!

The popular Wines in the Valley parties return for three consecutive weeks this month. The three can’t-miss Happy Wednesdays on 4, 11 and 18 March will feature delicious eats, thrilling games, and around 60 of the greatest wine selections from seven countries to choose from. And of course each party comes complete with a generous side order of on-track racing action (Photos 1, 2, 3)!

Wines in the Valley will offer race fans and wine aficionados alike the opportunity to uncork choice reds and whites from France, Italy, Argentina, Chile, the U.S., Australia and New Zealand. Expert sommeliers will be on-hand to make recommendations. And by purchasing a HK$100 Wine Pass, racegoers can savour 50ml glasses of six different wines.   

Of course exquisite wines taste even better when complemented with a tasty bite, and the trackside kiosks will spoil fans with a choice of eight dishes: Parma Ham & Melon($60- Photo 4); French Cheese Platter ($78); American Style Sirloin Steak Sandwich ($70); Pat? de Campagne with Mini Baguette ($48); New Zealand Lemon Sole in Beer Batter ($95-Photo 5); Baked Cannelloni with Garlic Herbs Scallops & Tomato Creamy Sauce($60-Photo 6); Taco Chili Con Carne($48- Photo 7); Sauteed Australian Blue Mussels in White Wine Sauce with Mini Baguette($85). 
A selfie game - “The Tipple Treasure Hunt” - will be staged at four special on-course locations. Every night the three participants judged to have taken the most creative photo will each win a pair tickets worth HK$2,990 to the internationally acclaimed CAVALIA – the equestrian theatrical spectacular taking place at the Central Harbourfront. Fabulous prizes will also be up for grabs at the ever-popular trackside Wine Tasting Challenge. Meanwhile a live band and dance troupe will be on hand to keep the party vibe alive.

Not to be outdone, Happy Valley Racecourse’s hotspots adrenaline and The Gallery will also be serving up their own wine selections on 4, 11 and 18 March.  At adrenaline, customers may purchase a special Wine Pass at $220 which allows them to sample four 75ml glasses of wine. Asian jazz diva Jennifer Palor will be performing her signature blue tunes live to bring even more sparkle to the event. For bookings, please call 3690-3690.
