The Appeal lodged by Jockey G Mosse against the decision of the Racing Stewards made on 14 January 2015 to suspend him from riding in races for a period to expire on 2 April 2015 for a breach of Rule of Racing 99 (2) and (5) was heard by the Stewards of the Jockey Club at 9:00 a.m. on 6 March 2015.
The Appeal Panel carefully considered all the evidence taken in this case together with the further evidence taken in the hearing today.
The Panel dismissed the Appeal and ordered the deposit forfeited to the Race Fund. Jockey Mosse’s suspension takes effect on 16 March 2015 and will expire on 10 May 2015, on which day he may resume riding in races.
