Horses breeze ahead of Hong Kong International Sale

07/03/2015

The 2015 Hong Kong International Sale Breeze-up took place at Sha Tin Racecourse this morning, Saturday, 7 March.

The 25 horses catalogued are expected to be auctioned at the Sha Tin Racecourse Parade Ring next Saturday (14 March), the eve of the HKG1 BMW Hong Kong Derby.  All, except Lot 18, which is going to breeze later next week, breezed well this morning in front of trainers, owners and connections.

William A. Nader, the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s Executive Director of Racing, said: “This was the best breeze-up in recent years and may be the best we have ever had. The horses performed well and were nicely turned out. This bodes well for the sale next Saturday and provides Owners with many options if they wish to participate.”
