Leon Lai joins AP QEII Cup Selections Announcement and appointed as AP QEII Cup Ambassador

The Audemars Piguet QEII Cup, one of Hong Kong’s major sporting events since the celebrated watchmaker took over sponsorship in 1999, will be run on Sunday 26 April at Sha Tin Racecourse.  This International Group 1 event has captured the attention of renowned trainers and owners all around the globe. This year’s race carries record prize money of HK$20 million, an increase of HK$6 million on 2014.

To mark the occasion, the Club has appointed renowned actor Leon Lai to be this year’s Audemars Piguet QEII Cup Ambassador.  He will join the big day on 26 April at Sha Tin Racecourse to witness the emergence of this year’s APQEII Cup winner and present a souvenir to the winning connections.
