Seven races from the Macau Hong Kong Trophy Day meeting to be held at Taipa Racecourse in Macau will be simulcast for betting on Saturday, 18 April. (1st race 1:15pm)
The 2nd leg of the annual Hong Kong Macau reciprocal event - the Macau Hong Kong Trophy (MAC-G1 1500m) - is undoubtedly the highlight of the day with five Hong Kong runners due to take part. They are, in rating order, Super Lifeline (Tony Millard), Winning Leader (Dennis Yip), Gurus Dream (Dennis Yip), Multivictory (Tony Cruz) and Great Spirit (Ricky Yiu).
Completing the simulcast card are six races for local elites, namely:
Grand Lisboa Cup (MAC-G3 1500m open handicap)
Chairman’s Challenge Cup (MAC-G1 1200m)
Macau Derby (MAC-G1 1800m for 4yo)
Lisboa Prelude (MAC-Listed 1100m for 2&3yo)
Sand Classic Cup (MAC-G3 Sand 1350m open handicap)
Sand Mile (MAC-G3 Sand 1600m open handicap)
Final declarations with barrier draws for the Macau races will be available on Wednesday, 15 April except the Macau Hong Kong Trophy and Macau Derby, which will be available on Tuesday, 14 April.
