1200m - Turf

1

Mings Man

He was spelled after two creditable fifths last year. A near six-month spell did him a world of good. Since he resumed in January, he has had an all-the-way win, two seconds and a third from four starts.

2

Racer King

He has been consistent, with a win and eight placings from 12 starts. He is knocking on the door as he found one to beat in his last two starts. He has raced on turf twice and both yielded fifth placings.

3

Famous Artist

He showed vast potential by winning his only start in near-record time. He led from go to whoa to take the Restricted race by a big margin in 58.64s for the flying 1000m on the Polytrack. He has improved and has the natural speed to overcome the wide draw to make it two-up.

4

Million Round

He made an impressive winning debut over the Polytrack 1200m last month and was supported to make it a running double last start but he failed to accelerate the way he should and finished fourth.

5

Morales

He also won his debut impressively, in a Polytrack 1000m scamper in 1m 0.1s and, like Million Round, failed to go on to score a quick double. He was thereabouts most of the way and finished seventh. He will need to improve to have his say.

6

Great Sun

He has finished in the top four in his five starts, scoring at his penultimate run over 1400m in January. He followed up with a two-length fourth over the same trip but has been rested since that 15 Feb outing. Look to him for a nice run fresh.

7

Lim's Greeting

From four starts, he has had a second-up win, two thirds and a fourth. He finished a close third over the same 1400m winning trip last start on 18 Jan but has not raced since. He runs well fresh.

8

Lizaz

He won his debut on 1 March with finesse, moving up like a nice horse from fourth to score over 1200m in a good first-up time for a newcomer. Although he could only finish fourth and then sixth in his next two starts, he is a capable type and make a sound each-way bet.

9

Higher Soul

The Japanese mare scored at her sixth start, coming from slightly worse than midfield to score over 1400m last July and then pulled up with respiratory distress after finishing seventh in October.  She resumed from a half-year break in April but ran unplaced.

10

Po'de Ouro

He came right last start at his 12th attempt to cause an upset by producing a late spurt to beat the second favourite over 1200m in a Restricted Maiden event. Although he is retaining form, this looks a tough assignment.

11

Divided House

This filly is stamping herself as a nice performer. She went down by only a neck first-up on 8 March over the Polytrack 1000m. Her conqueror went on to win again and she also franked the form by winning her next start over 1200m on turf. She will be competitive.

12

Helen

This filly led all the way in her debut over the Polytrack 1000m last September and followed up with a seventh three weeks later. She was then spelled and resumed late last month with a fifth over the Poly 1100m.

13

Wyndham

He was unraced for 13 months after his arrival and made his debut only on 24 April as a four-year-old. He trailed in that race over the flying 1200m on the Polytrack.

14

Lucky Coin

He has had only one run in Singapore so far, coming from the rear to finish sixth of 13 runners over 1200m on 12 April. He was beaten about five lengths. He probably needs to make big improvement to get some loose change.
