Le French May Trophy and the France Galop Cup Photo Release

To celebrate the spirit of horse racing and co-operation, Le French May and the Hong Kong Jockey Club jointly presented the seventh edition of the French Day at Happy Valley Racecourse tonight (20 May), when two trophy races, Le French May Trophy and the France Galop Cup, were staged. In reciprocity, the Club will name two of the races at the meeting to be held at Deauville Racecourse in France on 15 August 2015.

Happy Surveys (No. 2), trained by John Size and ridden by Joao Moreira, takes the Le French May Trophy.  Mr Arnaud Barthelemy, Consul General of France in Hong Kong and Macau, presents the trophy to the winning owners Mak Kang Hoi and Rosanna Mak (Photo 3).  Dr Andrew S Yuen, Chairman of Le French May and Mrs Arnaud Barthelemy present the souvenirs to the winning trainer John Size (Photo 4) and jockey Joao Moreira respectively (Photo 5).
