Mini-gongs will be set up near the racecourse main entrances for racegoers seeking some good fortune over the coming season.  Fans may also visit a lucky formation installed in the Public Forecourt.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club strives to promote and support local creativity with arts development. In order to nurture talented local designers, a cross-discipline collaborative project ‘Riding High in Style’ has been launched by The Hong Kong Jockey Club and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council which aims at recruiting themed innovative design ideas on horses and horse racing. The products include household, decorative and gift items. The winning pieces will be produced as limited edition items and sold at Sha Tin Racecourse’s Gift at Races outlets, from the 6 September Season Opening race meeting onwards (Photo 6).

An eye-catching range of tote bags, scarves, key chains and magnets with prices from HK$50 illustrating the spectacular racecourses at Sha Tin and Happy Valley, specially-created by renowned Japanese artist Kiyoko Yamaguchi, will also be on sale at Gift at Races stores and selected locations while stocks last (Photo 7).
