The Stewards have received advice from The British Horseracing Authority that Freelance Jockey Derek Leung incurred a whip related offence when riding at the Sandown Park race meeting on Friday, 21 August 2015 and as a consequence has been suspended from riding in races for the period 4 September 2015 until 8 September 2015, both dates inclusive. Accordingly, Jockey Leung will not be eligible to accept race riding engagements at the Sha Tin race meeting scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, 6 September 2015.
