The Stewards have today been provided with a medical certificate advising that Jockey Zac Purton, who sustained an injury to his right ankle when kicked by a horse prior to batch 2 of the barrier trials conducted at Sha Tin Racecourse on 2 September, is unfit to ride. Accordingly, Jockey Purton remains stood down from riding and will not fulfil his riding engagements at the Sha Tin race meeting scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, 6 September 2015.
As previously advised, the following declared standby riders will be substituted:-

A further release will be issued at the appropriate time advising when Jockey Purton will be able to resume riding. However, Jockey Purton will not accept race riding engagements in the immediate future.
