Coetzee shares his knowledge at first apprentice mentoring session Photo Release

18/09/2015

Felix Coetzee flew to Hong Kong this week for his first session mentoring young riders at the Hong Kong Jockey Club Apprentice Jockeys School. South Africa’s three-time champion jockey will visit the school several times throughout the season as part of his new consultative role within the Club’s apprentice training programme. After today’s trackwork session, the man who famously partnered Silent Witness cast a keen eye over the Hong Kong jockeys’ room’s two newest apprentices, Jack Wong and Kei Chiong, as they trained on the mechanical horse. Coetzee then offered guidance and shared his wealth of experience with apprentice trainees at the school.
