The Stewards have been advised that Jockey W M Lai, who sustained an injury to his right leg in a barrier incident at Sha Tin track work on 12 October, underwent an operation to the injured leg today. As such, it is anticipated that Jockey Lai will be unable to ride for some time.
A further release will be issued at the appropriate time advising when Jockey Lai will be able to resume riding.
