Sterling City

Former Hong Kong galloper who��s had two runs this season for the David Hayes stable. Run off his feet, last start, at 1000m in G1 Moir Stakes when 7.6 lengths last of 13 behind Buffering. That run wasn��t as bad as it looks. Down in class and does have a great record at 1400m.

Famous Seamus

Performed well in two runs this season. First-up was 1.6 lengths 5th to Winx in G2 Theo Marks (1300m) and followed up with closing 1.4 lengths 4th to Terravista in G2 Premiere Stakes (1200m). Down in class. Placed only two of eight starts at this distance but recent attempts have been in G1 races.

Charlie Boy

Solid in two runs from break. Resumed with 0.3 lengths 2nd to Fell Swoop in Caulfield 1200m Listed Testa Rossa Stakes before 3.3 lengths 6th to Chautaqua in G2 Gilgai Stakes (1200m). Not won at 1400m but has been successful at 1350m and ran second to Boban in G1 Doomben 10,000 (1350m) in May.

Vashka

Settled back when 3.6 lengths 7th to Winx in G2 Theo Marks (1300m) at Rosehill on 12 September. Then scored strong on-speed win in the G2 Shannon Stakes at 1500m. Has won five races in 1300m to 1500m range.

Rock Sturdy

Fitter for two runs this campaign, advantaged by rise in distance and capable of improving. Settled too far back when 2.3 lengths 7th to Terravista in G2 Premiere Stakes (1200m) at latest run.

Worthy Cause

Excellent all the way winner of the Listed 1400m Paris Lane Stakes at Flemington on 4 October. Had four starts at 1400m for three wins and a second.

Chivalry

Made late ground last start, in leader dominated race, when 4 lengths 5th to Worthy Cause in the Listed 1400m Paris Lane Stakes. Won only two races but always shown promise. Wants the speed on.

Under The Louvre

Excellent at past two runs, finishing strongly. Followed head 2nd to Churchill Dancer in G2 Bobbie Lewis Quality (1200m) before head 3rd to Stratum Star in G1 Rupert Clarke Stakes, this course and distance, on 26 September - and form has been strong from that race.

Setinum

Best of the late finishers last start in a race dominated from the front - coming from 13th at 400m to finish 3.3 lengths 4th to Worthy Cause in Flemington 1400m Listed Paris Lane Stakes. Wants strong tempo.

Kumaon

Struck interference when 5.3 lengths 9th to Kaepernick in Moonee Valley 1200m Sprint on 2 October. That was first run since March and better suited at this distance.

Ulmann

Fair effort last time when 4.1 lengths 6th to Worthy Cause in Flemington 1400m Listed Paris Lane Stakes on 4 October. That was second run back from break and may be fitter for this or may be looking for 1600m now.

Coronation Shallan

Ran on strongly at first outing since July when 1.6 lengths 4th to Kaepernick in Moonee Valley 1200m Sprint on 2 October. Unplaced three runs at this track is some query.
