Hong Kong��s first ��Gentlemen��s Bow-tie Day�� at Sha Tin Racecourse this Sunday

Sponsored by Oriental Watch Company, Hong Kong’s very first Gentlemen’s Bow-tie Day (Photo 1) will be held at Sha Tin Racecourse this Sunday (25 October).  Racegoers can enjoy an array of on-course activities and receive a bow-tie themed mobile phone stand (Photo 2) as a door gift, which will be available until Race 5 or while stocks last.

A Watch & Fashion Show will be staged in the Parade Ring during Race 3, featuring celebrity models Gregory Wong and Elanne Kwong, who will be modelling the latest evening dresses by renowned fashion designer Pius Cheung, as well as luxury timepieces from leading world brands.

Limited edition bow-ties and other accessories with equestrian and horological themes (Photo 3) can be purchased at the Mobile Gift Shop in the Members’ Enclosure and at the Gift at Races souvenir shop, while stocks last.

Mezza One, the food plaza at Sha Tin Racecourse, will present five special dishes, with prices from HK$22 and up.

The Oriental Watch Sha Tin Trophy (Race 8), a Hong Kong Group 2 race on turf over 1,600m. Chairman of Oriental Watch Holdings Limited Dr Yeung Ming Biu and his wife, along with Managing Director Dennis Yeung Him Kit and his wife and Executive Director Alain Lam Hing Lun and his wife, will present souvenirs to the winning connections.  The Premier Bowl (1,200m, HKG2), to be run as Race 9, will be another of the day’s highlights.

Ten races are programmed for the day, with the first starting at 1:00 pm.  Sha Tin Racecourse will open at 11:00 am on 25 October.
