Had first run since January when 6 lengths 12th of 13 behind Fast ’N’ Rocking in Listed Village Sprint (1200m) at Caulfield on 14 October. Had tough run under top weight on that occasion and likely to strip much fitter.

Hot Snitzel

Found pressure too great on speed when 2.9 lengths last of 8 behind Terravista in the G2 Premiere Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on 3 October. Fitter for that but unplaced three previous starts this straight course and distance.

Dothraki

Narrow but impressive winner of the Listed Tatts Lightning (1100m) at Randwick on 17 October which his first run since July. No issue with him winning second-up which he’s done three times before.

Generalife

Satisfactory effort at first run this season when 1.9 lengths 6th to Terravista in the G2 Premiere Stakes on 3 October. That was first run since June when 2 lengths 3rd to Srikandi, finishing just ahead of Hot Snitzel, in the G1 Stradbroke at 1350m.

Under The Louvre

Very good head 2nd to Churchill Dancer this course and distance in the G2 Bobbie Lewis on 12 September. Then placed in G1 Rupert Clarke Stakes before fast finishing 0.5 lengths 2nd to Vashka in G3 Moonga Stakes at Caulfield on 17 October.

Delectation

Rates highly on latest run when 1 length 2nd, down this straight 1200m course, to the country’s highest rated sprinter Chautauqua in the G2 Gilgai Stakes on 4 October.

Fontelina

Won this race in 2012 and 2013 for previous trainer. Had first run for current stable, and first since June, when sound 1.2 lengths 5th to Dothraki in the Listed Tatts Lightning (1100m) on 17 October.

Knoydart

Good effort when 1.2 lengths 3rd to Chautauqua and Delectation in G2 Gilgai Stakes, this course and distance, on 4 October. That was first run since June. Since been placed in barrier trial on 20 October.

Eclair Choice

Sound effort to dead-heat first with the highly rated Lumosty in the G2 Caulfield Sprint (1000m) on 17 October. This is first try down straight course. Trainer has good strike rate in Melbourne.

Churchill Dancer

Good sprinter with four wins this course and distance. Won the G2 Bobbie Lewis here in September before solid 2 lengths 5th to Chautauqua in G2 Gilgai Stakes here on 4 October.

Kuro

Had no luck in running when 4.3 lengths 7th to dead-heaters Lumosty and Eclair Choice in G2 Caulfield Sprint (1000m) on 17 October. Placed only start this course and distance behind Brazen Beau in the Coolmore this day last year.

Bring Me The Maid

Good on speed effort when 2.3 lengths 3rd to Politeness in G3 Northwood Plume Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on 10 October. Some chance in race of many chances.

Countryman

Comes back in distance after leading and fading when 3.6 lengths 6th to Music Magnate in Randwick 1400m Handicap on 10 October. Better suited at 1200m but untried down straight track.

Kaepernick

Failed first-up behind Churchill Dancer in the Bobbie Lewis down the straight track in September before two good runs at 1200m at Moonee Valley (won on 2 October) and 2.3 lengths 3rd to Fast ’N’ Rocking at Caulfield on 14 October.
