Calling all Bond fanatics! On the Happy Wednesday nights of 11 and 25 November, Happy Valley Racecourse will transform into an exciting espionage movie land (Photo 1)! From décor and entertainment to live onstage performances, as well as food and beverages, everything will come complete with a little added ‘licence to thrill’. Tickets for the latest Bond blockbuster Spectre will be up for grabs in our fun on-course games.
The Happy Wednesday parties will present a glamorous ambience the world’s favourite superspy would be sure to love!
Performers in Bond girl costumes will dance each night away to classic franchise movie themes like Goldfinger and Live and Let Die.
Legendary British carmaker Aston Martin is celebrating its long-standing association with Bond and Spectre’s upcoming launch by announcing the customisation of 150 individual DB9 GT Bond Edition models (Photo2). Racegoers will be able to view at trackside one of only two of these amazing cars present in Hong Kong.
Fans will be able to pose for snaps with gorgeous Bond girls and the Bond movies’ criminal mastermind characters as they rove around the Beer Garden.
Racegoers will also have the chance to win tickets to watch Spectre and other fabulous prizes when they take part in the exciting Bond-themed games on-course.
The party vibe will not only be a feast for the eyes and ears but also a treat to taste buds as chefs present a UK-themed trackside menu. Kedgeree (HK$60-Photo 3), Welsh Cawl (HK$60-Photo 4) served with rice, Fish & Chips (HK$90) and Steak & Kidney Pie (HK$50-Photo 5) are the four dishes to savour. Special cocktails named after Bond blockbusters “Skyfall” (Photo 6) and “Goldfinger” (Photo7) will also be available, priced at HK$70 each.
At adrenaline Jennifer Palor and her band will perform awesome versions of classic Bond movie themes (Photo 8). Customers at The Gallery may take part in a game to find the three best impersonators of Mr. or Mrs. Bond, with the winners receiving two tickets to the latest Bond movie Spectre.
