The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast for betting seven races from the Emirates Stakes Day meeting at Flemington, Australia, on Saturday, 7 November.
The Emirates Stakes is the most important mile race at the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival. It is run under quality handicap conditions with a limit on the top weight, making it an attractive proposition for higher-rated horses.
The other feature race is the Darley Classic (Victoria Racing Club Stakes), a premier weight-for-age 1200m event contested over the Flemington straight course. Outstanding sprinters such as TAKEOVER TARGET, MISS ANDRETTI and the legendary BLACK CAVIAR (twice) have won the race in the past. It is among the top sprint races in Australia and since 2008 has been part of the prestigious Global Sprint Challenge.

Antler Luggage Handicap – 1600m
Hilton Hotels & Resorts Stakes (VRC Springtime Stakes) – Listed 1400m for 3yo
Queen’s Cup (Queen Elizabeth Stakes) - G3 2600m handicap
Darley Classic (Victoria Racing Club Stakes) – G1 1200m
Emirates Stakes – G1 1600m handicap
Matriarch Stakes – G2 2000m for 4yo+ fillies & mares
Emirates Airline Handicap – 1400m for 4yo+
Final declarations with barrier draws for the Emirates Stakes Day races will be available on Wednesday, 4 November.
