The most anticipated event of the racing calendar, the LONGINES Hong Kong International Races (HKIR), will be held on Sunday 13 December at Sha Tin Racecourse. And to get in the mood, starting from today, racing fans can play online games at the Club’s website, with the chance to win fabulous prizes.
Play online puzzle game to win a digital accessories storage case
Fans can join the online game now by going to the LONGINES HKIR website (photo 1). A photo will be displayed at the beginning of the game. Participants are required to unscramble the photo in the correct sequence within 30 seconds. The first 8,000 participants to complete the puzzle correctly will each receive a Digital Accessories Storage Case (photo 2, 3). There is no limit to the number of times players can register an entry, but only their fastest correct answer will count towards prize qualification.
The online game closes on Monday, 30 November. Winners will be notified individually and must collect their prizes in person at Sha Tin Racecourse within the designated hours on Sunday 13 December. No prizes will be given out after the designated collection period.
26 November – vote online for your favourite LONGINES IJC Jockey
The LONGINES International Jockeys’ Championship (IJC) will be held on 9 December at Happy Valley Racecourse. Fans can vote for their favourite competing jockeys by going to the designated LONGINES IJC voting site www.hkijc2015.hk. A $50 F&B coupon or a set meal coupon (worth $110) will be given to fans casting their votes between 26 November and 8 December. Fans casting their votes in person at the LONGINES IJC night meeting at Happy Valley will receive a National Flag-patterned scarf-headband as a souvenir.
Racing fans who also jot down a cheering message will have the chance to win fabulous prizes. Fans creating the best cheering slogan will win a $10,000 travel certificate. Other prizes include a special edition LONGINES HKIR windbreaker and cap.
