Erupt, Trip To Paris and Ito, unplaced in the G1 Japan Cup at Tokyo Racecourse on Sunday (29 November), have been scratched from the LONGINES Hong Kong International Races.
The three Europeans each held a nomination to the HK$16.5 million G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Vase (2400m) at Sha Tin Racecourse on 13 December. Khaya, third to Flintshire in last season’s G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Vase, and John Size-trained stablemate Ensuring, will now join the Vase, making a field of 13.
Packing Pins has been scratched from the G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Mile, while the Tony Cruz-trained Romantic Touch will join the line-up competing for the HK$23 million purse.
