German filly Lovelyn has been withdrawn from the LONGINES Hong Kong Vase.
“Early this morning the filly was found to have suffered a soft tissue injury to her right forelimb,” said Dr. Christopher Riggs, the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s Head of Veterinary Clinical Services. “Further investigations confirmed that it would be unwise for her to continue to train at this time and, therefore, she has been withdrawn from the race.”
