Instruction 5(2)(i) of the Club��s Rules of Racing provides that any horse from overseas and invited to compete in an international race conducted by the Club may, with the permission of the Stewards, wear any item of approved gear in the saddling area, the parade ring and on the way to the start (but not in a race) on condition that such tack/gear has previously been approved to be worn by a Recognised Racing Authority.
ccordingly, the Stewards have received confirmation from the Japan Racing Association that the following horses declared for the Sha Tin racemeeting on Sunday, 13 December 2015 will wear a Hood in the parade ring but not during the race:-
STRAIGHT GIRL (Race 5, The LONGINES Hong Kong Sprint)
DANON PLATINA (Race 7, The LONGINES Hong Kong Mile)
SATONO ALADDIN (Race 8, The LONGINES Hong Kong Cup)
The Stewards have also received confirmation from the Japan Racing Association that the following horse will wear a Pacifier in the parade ring but not during the race:-
A SHIN HIKARI (Race 8, The LONGINES Hong Kong Cup)
Further, the Stewards have received confirmation from the Japan Racing Association that the following horse will wear Ear Plugs in the parade ring and on the way to the start but not during the race:-
MAURICE (Race 7, The LONGINES Hong Kong Mile)
The Stewards have also received confirmation from Racing Victoria Limited that GAILO CHOP (Race 8, The LONGINES Hong Kong Cup), which last raced in Victoria, Australia, will wear a Hood in the parade ring and on the way to the start but not during the race.
