HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will offer Winning Trainer (Composite Win) for the Hong Kong Group Three race, i.e. Race 7 of January Cup on 6 January, Wednesday at Happy Valley Racecourse. This is in addition to 3 Pick 1 (Composite Win), which will be available for every race as usual.
Winning Trainer allows customers to pick all the starters from their preferred trainer which are running in the same race. Horses are grouped into three to four composites according to the trainer. Customers will collect a dividend if any horse in the chosen composite wins. Turnover from Winning Trainer will be merged into the existing Win pool and dividends will be calculated on a pari-mutuel basis.
The composites for Winning Trainer will be defined at noon on 5 January and ticket sales* will be available after that time.
