Further to the press release issued yesterday, J Moreira remains stood down from riding and accordingly is unable to fulfil his intended riding engagements at the Sha Tin race meeting to be conducted tomorrow.
As such, the Stewards have approved the following riding substitutions:-
Race 1: C Y Ho on BE THERE AHEAD
Race 2: B Prebble on MY DARLING
Race 3: R Moore on SWEET BEAN
Race 4: K C Leung on LEADING HORSE
Race 5: C Brown on KING OF HOUSEHOLD
Race 6: N Callan on RIGHT CALL
Race 7: K C Leung on FIGHT HERO
Race 8: C Brown on WILD BOY
Race 9: N Rawiller on HELENE HAPPY STAR
Race 10: N Rawiller on SO FAST
Jockey Moreira is however hopeful of being cleared to return to race riding at the Chinese New Year meeting to be conducted at Sha Tin Racecourse on Wednesday, 10 February 2016. A further release will be issued at the appropriate time advising when Jockey Moreira will be able to resume riding.
Jockey D Whyte, who was also stood down from riding at the Happy Valley race meeting on Wednesday, 3 February after being dislodged from NOBLE BUDDIES prior to the running of Race 3, has been cleared to resume riding and accordingly will fulfil his riding engagements at tomorrow’s Sha Tin race meeting.
