This year's BMW Hong Kong Derby (photo 1) will be held on Sunday 20 March at Sha Tin Racecourse. As a warm-up to the day, racing fans will be able to take up the challenge in the Derby Phone-in Quiz and win cash vouchers worth a total of $500,000.
The Derby Phone-in Quiz will be held during the four race meetings of 6, 9, 13 and 16 March. A question will be sent out each raceday via the channels listed below. Racing fans who phone to the Derby Quiz hotline at 1836 222 with the correct answer will have the chance to win a $100 cash voucher of The Hong Kong Jockey Club. 5,000 cash prizes worth a total of $500,000 will be given out over the four racedays.

The questions will be asked after Race 5 during Sha Tin day meetings (6 and 13 March), and after Race 3 during Happy Valley night meetings (9 and 16 March). Each participant will be eligible for one prize only over the entire phone-in quiz period. Winners must collect their prizes in person at Sha Tin Racecourse on 20 March at designated time.
