G3 – 1200m – Turf

Cradle Me

Won two Listed races at 1200m in December before short break. Returned with 1.5 lengths 5th to Savoureux in G3 Wenona Girl Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on 5 March. Won ten races, nine on good tracks; one on soft ground.

Griante

Blocked for clear run all the way down the straight when 4 lengths 12th to Flamberge in the G1 Oakleigh Plate (1100m) at Caulfield on 27 February and could be sharp improver. Won on good and soft ground.

Pittsburgh Flyer

Finished hard when 0.9 lengths 4th to Flamberge in the G1 Oakleigh Plate (1100m) at Caulfield on 27 February. That was first run since November when won G3 sprint at 1100m on heavy ground.

Bring Me The Maid

Not raced since November when failed in the G3 Heffernan Stakes at 1300m. Has good record this track and performed well in each of four previous fresh runs (including two wins). Excels on soft ground.

Brook Road

Strong finisher whose recent runs have been well spaced. Ran 0.7 lengths 3rd to Pittsburgh Flyer in Flemington 1100m G3 last November and then re-appeared on 20 February to run nose 2nd to Coolring in Rosehill 1100m BM 93. Chance. Handles good and wet tracks.

Two Blue

Not raced since September when 0.8 lengths 2nd to Peeping in G2 Golden Pendant at 1400m. Won barrier trial at Randwick on 4 March. Excels this track and has performed on good and wet tracks.

Savoureux

Ran on strongly in 0.8 lengths win from Private Secretary in G3 Wenona Girl Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on 5 March. Five of her six wins have been at this distance; has race fitness on her side and handles all conditions.

Sultry Feeling

Kept fresh since 0.8 lengths win in the G3 Triscay Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on 13 February. On that occasion, she beat the subsequent Group race winners Peeping and Savoureux. No ground concerns.

Vezalay

Fair effort from wide draw when 4.2 lengths 13th to Flamberge in G1 Oakleigh Plate (1100m) at Caulfield on 27 February. That was first run since October. Wins have been on good ground but placed at her only start on soft ground.

Perignon

Had first run since October G1 Flight Stakes (1600m) placing when head winner from Kangarilla Joy in the G2 Light Fingers Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on 13 February. Capable all conditions.

Noela’s Choice

Comes back in trip, which may suit, after 3.4 lengths 4th to All Cerise in Flemington 1600m Fillies and Mares BM 90 on 30 January. Best form has been on rain affected tracks.

Flashing Speed

Won first two starts at 1100m and 1250m on soft and good ground in August and October last year. Then spelled before leading and finishing 1 length 3rd to Savoureux in G3 Wenona Girl Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on 5 March.

Lake Geneva

Sound effort when 3.6 lengths 5th to Almighty Girl in G3 Typhoon Tracy Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley on 26 February. Form strong from that race. Placed on wet but wins have come on good ground.

Onemorezeta

Has to improve on latest 4 lengths 7th to Coolring in Rosehill 1100m BM 93 on 20 February. Best form on good tracks.

Hieroglyphics

First run for two months when 0.3 lengths 2nd to Painte in Warwick Farm 1000m BM 72 on 9 March. Rise in class the query.

Something Secret

Well beaten first-up when 6 lengths 10th to Savoureux in G3 Wenona Girl Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on 5 March. Good record on soft tracks but has to improve.

Lucky Can Be

Held ground closing stages when 1.8 lengths 6th to Savoureux in G3 Wenona Girl Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on 5 March. Has won on heavy ground.

Tender

Not raced since October when won Warwick Farm 1600m BM 76 on soft ground. Had two recent barrier trials and has fair record fresh - winning once in weaker class.

 

Reserve

Look To The Stars

Not raced since September when unplaced at 1400m in Listed Allen Stakes. Ran second to Two Blue in barrier trial on 4 March. Two wins have come on good tracks including G2 BRC Sires at 1350m.
