The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast for betting seven races from Day 1 of The Championships - Doncaster Mile Day at Royal Randwick Racecourse on Saturday, 2 April. (1st race 10:55am)
The 2-Day action-packed event is the pinnacle of Sydney’s autumn racing season and is quickly establishing itself as one of the most competitive racing carnivals in the Australasia.
Day 1 of The Championships features the A$3 million Doncaster Mile which is the World’s richest handicap over 1600m, and the Australian Derby, the most prestigious race for Australasian 3yo in Autumn.
The seven races to be simulcast are:
Doncaster Mile (G1 1600m handicap for 3yo+)
Australian Derby (G1 2400m for 3yo)
T J Smith Stakes (G1 1200m open)
ATC Sires Produce Stakes (G1 1400m for 2yo)
Chairman’s Handicap (G2 2600m handicap for 3yo+)
Adrian Knox Stakes (G3 2000m handicap for 3yo fillies)
P J Bell Stakes (G3 1200m for 3yo fillies)
Final declarations with barrier draws for The Championships – Doncaster Mile Day races (Word file) will be published on MCS on Wednesday, 30 March. Race card at the HKJC website and the relevant XML file on MCS will be available at around 11:15pm on Thursday, 31 March.
