1400m – Turf

Lofty’s Menu

Six wins, three seconds from 11 starts. Ran on well when 1.3 lengths 2nd to High Midnight in Rosehill 1350m BM 85 on 12 March. Hard to ignore consistency.

Profiler

Raced handy to speed in sound head win from Ultimate Dreamer in Grafton 1400m SW on 6 March and has since won barrier trial at Grafton on 21 March. Among the chances despite wide draw.

Clearly Innocent

Great record of five wins from seven starts and chasing fourth win on end. Won this distance at Scone on 21 February and then flew home late to grab 0.8 lengths win from All Summer Long in Scone 1100m BM 70 on 22 March. Go well.

Pera Pera

Chasing three straight after wins at 1325m and 1400m. Latest was on speed 1.3 lengths win from Iron Blue in Wellington 1400m SW on 13 March. Consistent.

Chrysolaus

Strong finisher who impressed with 0.5 lengths win from Ashjata in Muswellbrook 1280m SW on 27 March but is yet to place in four starts at 1400m.

All Summer Long

Runner-up to well fancied opponent Clearly Innocent at Scone 1400m on 21 February and again in Scone 1100m BM 70 on 22 March. Each way.

Ever So Natural

Raced on speed when 1.5 lengths 2nd to Another Valley in Taree 1400m SW on 28 February before charging home late when 1 length 2nd to Lucky News in Taree 1250m BM 73 on 15 March.

Bank On Henry

Won over 1600m and 1300m at Wagga before running on well when 2.3 lengths second to Lofty’s Menu in Goulburn 1400m SW on 20 February.

Mitchell Road

Ran 0.5 lengths 2nd to Steakandbernaise at this distance in Wagga SW on 27 February before 1.7 lengths 4th to Hill Spy in Albury 1175m Hcp on 17 March.

Steakandbearnaise

Sound winner this distance from Mitchell Road in Wagga SW on 27 February before finding step to 1600m just beyond him when 3.3 lengths 5th to Ashdam in the Albury Mile on 17 March.

Iron Blue

Raced handy and held on well when 1.3 lengths 2nd to Pera Pera in Wellington 1400m SW on 13 March. Runner-up three of four at the distance.

Something Borrowed

Ran on well when 0.5 lengths winner from Not A Shadow in Dubbo 1400m SW on 20 March on soft track. Soft ground would be a plus.

Not A Shadow

Won Maiden at 1300m before charging home late when 0.5 lengths 2nd to Something Borrowed in Dubbo 1400m SW on 20 March. Improving.

Ashjata

Placed behind Lofty’s Menu, beaten 2.5 lengths, at this distance before Goulburn 1000m win on 10 March. Last start, ran on strongly when 0.5 lengths 2nd to Chrysolaus in Muswellbrook 1280m SW on 27 March.

Ultimate Dreamer

Won three straight at 1215m, 1400m and 1415m before head 2nd to Profiler in Grafton 1400m SW on 6 March when probably unlucky not to have won.

Another Valley

Two recent wins at this distance on good rated track. Struck soft track last time when 4 lengths 5th to The Special Two in Gosford 1200m BM 78 on 17 March.

 

Reserves

Hermosa Beach

Won Canberra 1400m BM 65 on 6 March before closing late when 0.4 lengths 4th to Tremezzina in Kembla Grange 1400m BM 72 on 23 March.

Carton

Not disgraced when 1.2 lengths 5th behind Profiler and Ultimate Dreamer in Grafton 1400m SW on 6 March. Then ran on well in neck win from Planet America in Ipswich 1350m Class 3 on 23 March.

Another Rush

Beaten 3.4 lengths when 7th to Steakandbernaise at only attempt this distance on 27 February. Led when 1.3 lengths 3rd to Melberra Star in Albury 1175m BM 65 on 18 March.

After All That

Settled long way back last start and made a little late ground when 4.5 lengths 8th to Chrysolaus in Muswellbrook 1280m SW on 27 March.

Marmaduke’s Lady

Ran 1.6 lengths 3rd to Another Valley in Taree 1400m SW on 28 February before disappointing 6 lengths 11th to Chyrsolaus in Muswellbrook 1280m SW on 27 March.

Heza Thief

Raced handy and fought on well when 2.1 lengths 3rd to Pera Pera in Wellington 1400m SW on 13 March and could surprise.

Farewell Julia
