Second passed post but won the G1 Australian Cup, on protest from Awesome Rock, at this distance on 12 March. Then scored head win from Who Shot Thebarman in G1 The BMW (2400m) at Rosehill on 26 March. Good record this distance.

Struggling to find best form and unplaced in three runs this year - since won the G1 Caulfield Cup at 2400m last October. Latest was 14.3 lengths 9th to Preferment in the G1 The BMW (2400m) at Rosehill on 26 March.

Our Ivanhowe

Ran well when 1.5 lengths 5th to Preferment in G1 Australian Cup at this distance on 12 March. Then had hoof trouble leading into the G1 The BMW (2400m) at Rosehill on 26 March and finished last of ten, beaten 22.7 lengths.

Ran on strongly when 0.8 lengths winner from Hauraki in G1 Ranvet Stakes (2000m) at Rosehill on 19 March. In form and looks to be still on the improve.

Happy Trails

Slow pace against when 1.8 lengths 7th to Preferment in G1 Australian Cup (2000m) at Flemington on 12 March and capable of improved performance.

It’s Somewhat

Up in class but racing well and one of only two runners coming in off two straight wins. Won G2 Ajax Stakes at 1500m before good on pace win by 0.3 lengths from Messene in G3 Sellwood Stakes (2000m) at Rosehill on 26 March.

Dibayani

Former HK galloper who’s been placed only two of five at the distance and was disappointing last time when 4.3 lengths 4th to The United States in the G1 Ranvet Stakes (2000m) at Rosehill on 19 March. A soft track could help.

Happy Clapper

Very good effort last Saturday when 2 lengths 2nd to the champion mare Winx in the G1 Doncaster Mile (1600m) at Randwick. This is first run beyond 1600m.

Held up for run early in straight when 0.8 lengths 2nd to The United States in the G1 Ranvet Stakes (2000m) at Rosehill on 19 March. Sound in three runs this year and sound in three runs at the distance.

Led throughout to beat Guardini by a nose in G3 Easter Cup at this distance at Caulfield on 26 March. This is harder.

Lucia Valentina

Closed well when 1.6 lengths 4th to Peeping in the G1 Coolmore Classic (1500m) at Rosehill on 12 March at first run since December when creditable 5th to A Shin Hikari in the G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Cup. Respect.

Sound effort when 1.3 lengths 3rd to Preferment in the G1 Australian Cup at this distance before blocked for clear run in straight when 2.4 lengths 5th to Preferment in G1 The BMW (2400m) at Rosehill on 26 March.

Drew wide and worked hardly early to sit second when 3.6 lengths 4th to Miss Rose De Lago in G2 Sunline Stakes (1600m) at Moonee Valley on 24 March. That followed G1 Australian Cup fourth to Preferment, beaten 1.4 lengths and has chance on that performance.
