The Stewards have received advice from the Racing New South Wales Stewards that Club Jockey Chad Schofield has been found guilty of a whip related offence when riding BROOK ROAD at the Royal Randwick Meeting on Saturday, 9 April 2016. For this offence, Jockey Schofield was fined a sum of AUD$2000 and was also suspended from riding in races for a period commencing on Monday, 2 May 2016 and to expire on Thursday, 5 May 2016 on which day he may resume riding. Accordingly, Jockey Schofield will not be eligible to accept race riding engagements for the Happy Valley race meeting scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday, 4 May 2016.
