The Stewards hereby notify that ANTICIPATION is a declared starter in this race and that Standby Declared Starter HARBOUR MASTER is not promoted into the field.
The Stewards were advised by the Department of Veterinary Regulation that ANTICIPATION, a declared runner in this race, trained by Mr A S Cruz, was inadvertently notified to the Stewards as being unsuitable to race and accordingly information was sent out at 10:34 am from the Club informing that ANTICIPATION was withdrawn and that HARBOUR MASTER had been promoted into the field. The Department of Veterinary Regulation further informed that rather than ANTICIPATION, NONE OTHER, a declared runner in Race 8, the Pok Fu Lam Country Park Handicap, also trained by Mr Cruz, was the horse that was unsuitable to race due to being lame in the left front leg.
After having considered this matter and given that only a short amount of time had elapsed between the notification of ANTICIPATION being inadvertently withdrawn from the race and the error being identified, the Stewards have approved for ANTICIPATION to be reinstated into the field and as such HARBOUR MASTER is not promoted in its place. As NONE OTHER has now been withdrawn from Race 8, Standby Declared Starter SIMPLY INVINCIBLE has been promoted with B Prebble to ride that horse.
