G3 - 1704m – Turf

1

Loaves And Fishes

By far her best career run was last time when she led from start to finish in a Fillies' handicap at Beverley just a week ago. However the ratings suggest she has a lot on her plate in this G3 contest and there is also the issue of softish ground on which she is unproven.

2

Merry Me

Her sole turf win came on a softish surface so if those conditions prevail it might help her cause even if on ratings she has a bit to find with some of her rivals. She also ran a cracker when almost winning a handicap over this distance at this meeting last year, so this track clearly suits. Not beaten far in an all-weather Listed race on her only 2016 start.

3

Oakley Girl

Her three wins have come on an all-weather surface but she did run a decent race in a handicap over this course and distance on slow turf ground last September. Her best turf run, however, was on her latest start when second in a Listed contest over 1600m at Goodwood. This is tougher again but she tries hard and might make it into the money.

4

Persona Grata

Her two starts this season have been pretty miserable but she would come into this argument on some of her 2015 efforts including two successful raids on French Listed prizes, latterly with a fluent victory over 1800m on soft ground at Maisons-Laffitte.

5

Rosie Cotton

This French-trained filly has won just one of her eleven starts but she probably post a career best performance on her latest start just 10 days before this race, finishing a very close third in a tense finish to a Listed event over the straight 1600m at Maisons-Laffitte. This looks a stronger event but she is very used to a softish surface, conditions likely here.

6

Sayana

This lightly-raced French-trained filly has been spoken off very highly by her master trainer Alain de Royer-Dupre and, not surprisingly, since she has won three of her four starts with a profile that suggests race by race improvement. She beat some accomplished fillies with a bit to spare in a Listed contest over 1600m at Chantilly early last month and surely arrives here with a big chance.

7

Epsom Icon

She has winning form here at Epsom - in a maiden over 1400m - and also handles a soft surface. She has competed at a high level on her three starts this season- starting at long odds each time, - and, though she hasn't been disgraced, definite improvement is required if she is to make a winning strike here.
