2.2

directed Management to inform Freelance Jockey Howard Y T Cheng that the Committee has noted the number of occasions on which he has been spoken to during the current racing season regarding his handling of horses in races and that his disciplinary record will continue to be closely monitored in the future.  In addition, should he be found guilty of a further breach of the Rules 99(2) and (5) of the Rules of Racing he may be required to “show cause” why any further application for a Freelance Jockey’s licence ought to be granted.

3.

resolved to grant, subject to a satisfactory medical examination, an Apprentice Jockey’s licence for the 2016/2017 racing season to the following applicants:-

• Jack H N Wong (allocated Trainer: Me Y S Tsui)

3.2

resolved to grant, subject to a satisfactory medical examination, a licence to ride in races in Hong Kong to Apprentice Jockey Dylan H T Mo for the 2016/2017 racing season, provided that Apprentice Mo is not permitted to ride in any race at the Happy Valley Racecourse until permission is granted by Management.

An announcement in relation to which Trainer Apprentice Mo will be allocated to for the impending racing season will be issued at a later date.

resolved to grant an Assistant Trainer II licence for the 2016/2017 racing season to each of the currently listed Assistant Trainers listed below, and directed that they be advised in writing that a further Assistant Trainer II licence will not be granted beyond the expiration of their licence for the 2016/2017 racing season.
