The Committee, at their meeting held yesterday, called upon Mr Andreas Schutz to show cause why his application for a Trainer’s Licence for the 2016/2017 racing season ought to be granted. The Committee decided that Mr Schutz had failed to show cause why his application for a Trainer’s Licence for the 2016/2017 racing season ought to be granted. Accordingly, his application for a Trainer’s Licence for the stated season was rejected. According to the Rules of Racing, Mr Schutz has a right of appeal to the Stewards of the Jockey Club against this decision of the Licensing Committee.
