Around 100 shortlisted applicants who applied for positions as racing trainees attended the riding test at Beas River Country Club today (15 August). Amy Chan, the Club’s Racing Development Board Executive Manager and Headmistress of the Apprentice Jockeys’ School; Felix Coetzee, Chief Riding Instructor of Apprentice Jockeys’ School, as well as trainer Michael Chang select talented applicants based on their riding performance. Those who passed the riding and interview session will be arranged to join the orientation camp on 22 August. The 25 applicants with the best performances will be selected to join the racing trainee programme.
