1600m - Turf

Aerolithe

Won debut race last out at Tokyo by 1 3/4 lengths. Raced over 1,400 meters against colts carrying same weight. Raced well in hand in 2nd position. Easily captured frontrunner. Fastest time of field over final 3 furlongs. Very mature, serious filly. Has bright future.

Amber Minnie

Flattened field in debut start under Christophe Lemaire over Hanshin 1,800 on good ground. Won by 3 lengths against colts. Did not break well, but recovered to reach second position quickly. Raced relaxed and smoothly amid slow pace. Easily reached top heading into straight. Displayed strong kick. Changed leads repeatedly. Shows great potential. Shorter distance not a problem.

Appeal Bio

Led in both career starts. Went from debut win over 1,800 to fourth in G3 mile last out. Ran solidly but one pace. Overtaken in stretch, lacks kick. Needs good pace.

Caribbean Gold

Won debut race handily over mile last out at Nakayama over 1,600 meters turf. Held fifth position nicely in pack. Bumped into runnerup twice but was unfazed. Honest runner. Looks adaptable to variety of distances.

Cuban Mambo

Broke maiden on third start last out at Sapporo over 1,500 meters. All-filly field. Raced in third position, won easily by 2 lengths. Finished third by half length against colts at 1,800 meters in race before that. Good late speed. Can be easily excited.

Nishino Kirarako

Four starts in career, all over 1,800 meters of turf. Broke maiden at Sapporo on third try. Two weeks later jumped to open class Cosmos Sho at same venue, traveled in second position a bit keen and finished last. Would do better racing with more cover. Probably outclassed here.

Orange Poppy

Has yet to break maiden in five races. Tried over variety of distances, turf and dirt. Not promising.

Pays De Merveilles

Won debut by a nose racing in all-female company at Fukushima last start. Overcame gate trouble demonstrated in practice and broke well. Came up from rear amid slow pace to win. Good late speed and very agile.

Quintuple

Won debut over 1,400. Jump up in class next start to G3 Niigata Nisai Stakes over mile racing against colts under same weight. Finished in ninth place 4 lengths off winner Vous Etes Jolie. Responses bit lacking. Has promise and expected to improve.

Rise Screw

Has only two starts, both over dirt, in regional racing. Won debut over 800 meters, came second over 1,400 last out. Early speed. First time on turf.

Success Moon

Broke maiden going wire to wire in fourth start over 1,200 meters. Runnerup to Divine Code last out after leading at slow pace in Aster Sho over Nakayama mile. Still has childish tendencies but shows persistence and ability to handle any pace. Best leading with strong pace.

Toho Aires

Won debut over mile at Niigata last out despite missing break. Difficult temperament. Does not like to be rushed until finds own rhythm. Came from far behind with powerful kick to win by neck in all-female company.
